Deploy on your organization's servers and gateways
We work with you to set up a configuration where you run the phone relay server and update server yourself and connect coding agents through your in-house AI gateway.
What we offer
Self-hosted relay and update servers
We help you configure the phone relay server and update server to run on your organization's servers. The desktop app can use a different relay address and update address.
In-house AI gateway integration
Register gateways that use the OpenAI Responses, Anthropic Messages, or OpenAI-compatible Chat protocol as per-project connections. The connection test checks whether the selected model can actually be used.
Deployment support and custom features
We discuss installer distribution, initial connection setup, and the features your organization needs.
Security documentation
We provide documentation describing how keys are stored, how phone relay traffic is encrypted, and how update signatures are verified.
Security summary
- End-to-end encryption
- The phone and PC create a new session key from ephemeral X25519 keys on every connection. The relay server only forwards ciphertext and does not store or log messages. Registering a device requires the one-time secret in the QR code and confirmation of a 6-digit number on both sides.
- Key storage
- API keys are stored encrypted in storage based on Windows DPAPI, macOS Keychain, or Linux Secret Service. Only a helper command, not the key, is written to Codex, Claude Code, and Pi settings files, and OAuth tokens are kept by each CLI itself.
- Self-hosting and updates
- The PC opens no ports and only makes outbound connections to the relay server. Automatic updates install only installers that pass Ed25519 signature and SHA-512 verification.
Frequently asked questions
Can we run the relay server ourselves?
Yes. The phone relay server and update server can run on your organization's servers. The desktop app's update address is set with the AGENT_SWITCHBOARD_UPDATE_URL environment variable. Contact us and we will explain how to configure it.
Can the relay server operator see chat content?
No. The relay server only forwards ciphertext and does not know the session key. It does not store or accumulate messages.
Where are API keys stored?
They are stored encrypted using each PC's OS secure storage. Keys are not written to Codex, Claude Code, or Pi settings files. At launch, a helper reads the key and passes it on.
Can we use an in-house AI gateway?
If the gateway speaks a protocol the tool supports (OpenAI Responses, Anthropic Messages, or OpenAI-compatible Chat), you can register it as a connection. You can assign a different gateway and model to each project.
What is the license?
It is licensed under the MIT License.
